Chapman, Dale E. Dale E. Chapman, age 67 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday morning, February 19, 2006 at his home. Dale was born on June 25, 1938 in Allegan County to Lloyd and Sara Jane (Newnum) Chapman and moved to the White Cloud area around 1965. Dale had worked at the O.J. Briggs Lumber Company as a sawyer for several years until his retirement. Dale enjoyed raising horses and was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. Dale also served in the United States Army during the post Korean Era. Dale is survived by his sisters, Joyce Cruz of Lansing, Michigan; Betty (Harry) Steinberg of Otsego; Sharon (Lenny) Chavez of Los Alamos, New Mexico; 20 nieces and nephews, 2 special great nephews, Nathan and Steven Steinberg of Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd in 1961 and mother, Sarah Jane in 2005; by his brother, Lloyd Bud in 1986. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Celebrant Judy Corey presiding with interment in the Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell, Michigan.
