Dale Eugene Cole, age 71 of Bridgeton, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at his home following a short illness. Dale was born on October 18, 1940 in Grant to Ernest Grant and Bernice Ellen (Brown) Cole and later married Sandra Taylor on October 21, 1968 in Newaygo. Dale has been a lifelong resident of the area where he had been a metal art artist all his life. Dale enjoyed visiting with his friends, going to auctions and flea markets but especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Dale is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sandra of Bridgeton; his children, Russell Cole of Morley; Jesse Cole of Morley; Dale Cole of Rockford; Julie Cole of Greenville; Ernie (Nanette) Cole of Bridgeton; Steven (Becca) Cole of Bridgeton; Susan (Kenneth) Fenske of Bridgeton; Art (Melissa) Cole of Ravenna; 26 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; his brothers, Darrell (Roxy) Cole of Walkerville; Stanley (Linda) Cole of Marenisco, Michigan; Donna Dalton of Greenville; Ernestine Fisk of Sparta; Carol Mayle of Newaygo; Christine Kemp of Howard City; Patty (Rick) Rodriquez of Grant; several nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda and Verna. VISITATION : Monday, October 8, 2012 from 1-3pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, October 8, 2012 at 3pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel.
