Evans, Dale Eugene Dale E. Evans, age 79, of Hesperia passed away on Friday, February 13, 2004 at home following a long illness. Dale was born on April 27, 19 24 in White Cloud, to Earl E. and Inez ( Griffith ) Evans and married Norma Jean Castle on November 22, 19 47 in Fremont . Dale had been a welder at Shaw Walker until his retirement in 1986. He was a veteran of World War II.. Dale is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Norma Jean of Hesperia; his son, James Evans of Charlevoix; his grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Evans and Tim (Marianne) Evans; his great-granddaughter, Rebecca Evans; and sister, Irene (Louis) Fowler of Traverse City. Following Dale's and the families wishes, cremation has taken place with graveside memorial services in the spring at the East Hesperia Cemetery .
