Dale Edward Wolgamott Sr., age 84, of Bitely, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at is home. Dale was born on February 27, 1932, in Bitely to Ervin and Mary Ann (Smith) Wolgamott and married Doreen Marie Brown on May 15, 1955. Doreen preceded him in death on March 16, 2015. Dale owned and operated Wolgamott Tree Service and Sawmill. Dale proudly served in the United States Army and was the Past Post Commander of the VFW Post #995 in Bitely. Dale was a member of the Hesperia Arcana Masonic Lodge #346 and had served as Worshipful Master. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, and being outdoors with family. Dale is survived by his children, Melinda (Stan) Sayers of Shelby, Terry (Yvonne) Wolgamott of Bitely, LuAnne (Mark) Sokolowski of Bitely, and Doug (DeAnne) Wolgamott of Bitely; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Loren (Sandy) Wolgamott, Andy (Jean) Wolgamott, Guy Wolgamott, Bruce (Margie) Hill of Bitely, and Elepha Karn. He was preceded by son, Dale Wolgamott Jr. in 2013; grandson, David J. Wolgamott; brothers, LD, Laban, George; sister, Margaret; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Wolgamott. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017, from 5 - 8 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 PM at the Amazing Grace Acres Church with Pastor Lucky Fulton officiating.
