Dan G. Graham, age 68 of Hesperia, formerly of Ensley Center, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 28, 2019 at his home. Dan was born in Grant to James G. and Alice C. (Taylor) Graham and later received his associated degree from Ferris State University. Dan had been an electrician at Feyen Zeylstra until his retirement. Dan met and married Christine Ann Lyon on May 28, 1977 in Rockford and moved to the Hesperia area in 2012 from Ensley Center. Dan had served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and had served on the Newaygo County Veterans Affairs Board for several years. Dan also had been a volunteer at the Newaygo County Commission on Aging and Newaygo County Headstart. He enjoyed playing yahtzee, computer games, watching movies, and golfing. He had been involved in many community activities and was always willing to volunteer whenever needed. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and was always active in his children's and grandchildren's activities.
Dan is survived by his wife of 42 years, Christine of Hesperia; his children, Ulric Gerald (Elly) Graham of Grand Rapids; Henry William (Jennifer) Graham of Bloomington, Indiana; Krystal Ann (William Peter) Kenney of Russellville, Missouri; 9 grandchildren; his mother, Alice Graham Burnett of Yerington, Nevada; his sisters and brothers, Maureen May Klea of Yerington, Nevada; James Michael (Michele) Graham of Sheridan, Michigan; Sheryl Sue Graham of Yerington, Nevada; Timothy Hugh Graham of Reno, Nevada; Melissa (John) Fielding of Yerington, Nevada; step brothers, Wayne Burnett of Detroit; Donald Burnett of Sulphur Springs, Texas; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, James Gerald Graham.
VISITATION : Friday, July 5, 2019 from 2-3pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel 7193 W 48th Street Fremont MI 49412 with MILITARY HONORS at 3pm and CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICES to follow at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel.
