Hudson Sr., Daniel Otis Daniel Otis Hudson Sr., age 89 of Grand Rapids , formerly of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2003 at the Kent Community Hospital in Grand Rapids . He was born on May 3, 1914 in Portland , Oregon to Walter and Beulah (McCoy) Hudson and moved to White Cloud in 1937 where he has spent most of his life. He married Gloria Jewett on December 4, 1975 in White Cloud and she preceded him in death on September 1, 1996 . He had been a lumber harvester for many years until his retirement and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a former member of Peoples Baptist Church , currently Glory Of The Latter House Ministries in White Cloud. He is survived by his children, Everett (Senaida) Hudson of Grant; Myrna Vandyke of Grand Rapids; Patricia Jackson of Grand Rapids; Don Hudson of Grand Rapids; Phillip (Blanche) Hudson of Nashville, Michigan; Norman Hudson of Houston, Texas; Carolyn (Johnnie) Pittman of Grand Rapids; Corrine Hudson of Kentwood; Marshall Hudson of White Cloud; Dan (Tammy) Hudson Jr. of Grand Rapids; Yvette Lucas of Battle Creek; Annie Ruth of Meridian, Mississippi; numerous grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; his sister, Violet of Spokane, Washington; special sister-in-law, Bonnie (Robert) Wheeler of Fremont; his former wife, Ms. Yvonne Lucas; host of friends. He was preceded in death by his sons, Tommy Lee; Tyrone; his daughter, Jessie Bea; his brothers, Nathan and Jessie; and his sister, Christine. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Pastor Jeff Murchison of the Glory Of The Latter House Ministries in White Cloud presiding with interment in the White Cloud Cemetery.
