Danny E. Ebert, age 73, of White Cloud passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at his home. Danny was born on May 9, 1949, in Grand Rapids to Marion Enoch and Betty J. (Streeter) Bergman Ebert and had been a fishing guide on the Muskegon River. Danny enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, and sightseeing. Danny served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and is a Past Commander of the Sand Lake VFW Post #7912. Danny is survived by his children, Danielle (Troy Underhill) Frantz of White Cloud, Amanda Holloway of Mississippi, Cory Ebert of Mississippi, and Kimberly (Allen) Hayman of White Cloud; grandchildren, Garret Ebert, Gabby Kolk, Griffin Kolk, Gavin Frantz, Wesley (Chelsea) Simmons, Gracey (Seth) Holloway, Toney Leigh Simmons, Jessie Kinnison, Jodi Kinnison, Jayden Hayman, and Jaycie Hayman; great-grandchildren, Kase Swain, Beau Simmons, and Neyla Lucas; sisters, Lynda Dean of Oklahoma and Pam (Lance) Ebenstein of Sand Lake; many nieces and nephews; and stepfather, Bill Bergman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Betty; son, Wayne W. Fifield; son-in-law, JJ Frantz; and brother-in-law, Andy Dean. Graveside services and Military Rites will be held at 12 PM on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the Elmwood Cemetery in Cedar Springs. There will be a time of fellowship and luncheon following the graveside at the Croton American Legion. For a more lasting memorial, friends may consider the Croton American Legion.
