Morgan, Darlene Janette Darlene Janette Morgan, age 69 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at her home. Darlene was born the oldest of 8 children on March 5, 1938 in Hudson, Michigan to Charles Russell and Florence (Willett) Kipp and after only 8 days of meeting Peter Morgan, married him on May 13, 1955 in White Cloud. Darlene and Peter had been married for 43 years until Peter preceded her in death on October 14, 1998. In her younger years, Darlene enjoyed camping with the Girl Scouts, fishing, riding snowmobiles, riding dune buggies and spending time with her family. As she grew older, the grandchildren came along and they became the center of her world and she treasured the time spent with each one of them. Darlene loved the holidays and always shopped for Christmas all year long. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds outside her home. Darlene had been a rural mail carrier at the White Cloud Post Office for 25 years until her retirement in 1995. Darlene is survived by her children, Jackie (Mark) Drew of White Cloud; Peter A. (Monica) Morgan Jr. of White Cloud; her grandchildren, Ryan, Hunter, Kassidy, Jillian, and Candace; her brothers and sisters, Clarence (Willidean) Kipp of White Cloud; Diane (Gerald) Ross of Newaygo; Lucille (Al) Wendt of Newaygo; Patricia Baldwin of Sears, Michigan; Charles Kipp Jr. of Hudsonville, Michigan; Carroll (Kathy) Kipp of Coupeville, Washington; Cheryl (Dave) Banacka of Fremont; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with interment in the White Cloud Cemetery. Friends may consider the Gerald R.
