Darwin Max Allen Jr., age 61, of Hesperia passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021, peacefully at his home. Darwin was born on April 11, 1960 in Pontiac to Darwin Max and Patricia Ann (Schudlich) Allen Sr. and married Michelle Kaye Newberry on March 19, 1988, in White Cloud. Darwin had been a painter and was a member of the White River Community Church. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, football, music, playing guitar, and cherished his time spent with his grandchildren. Darwin is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; children, Jynelle (Rudy) Coronado of Hart, Justin Darwin-Max (Tabitha Schmidt) Allen of Hesperia, and Joseph Dale Allen of Hesperia; grandchildren, Rudolfo, Rosalie, Lindsey, Nova, Leia, and Kaliah; brothers and sisters, Ronnie (Kelly Spencer) Allen of Whittemore, Bobby (Ann) Allen of White Cloud, Lynette Allen of Webberville, Jami (TJ) O'Bryant of Perry, Joni (Justin) Harvey of Howell, and Aimee (Wayne) Wolverton of Alger; several aunts, uncles, cousins; many nieces and nephews; step-father John Brewer; his dog, "Bullett"; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Allen; mother, Patricia Brewer; and father, Darwin Max Allen Sr. Visitation will be held from 11 AM – 1 PM on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the White River Community Church in Hesperia. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1 PM with Pastor Bill Blount officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allen family.
