David A. David, age 66 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday at the Hackley Hospital in Muskegon. David was born on Nov. 9, 1937 in Muskegon to Roy and Irene (Schooley) David and later married Dolores Horton on June 8, 1956 in Muskegon. David had been a environmental engineer at the SPX, formerly Sealed Power Company in Muskegon until his retirement in 2003 and moved to the White Cloud area in 1996. He had been an avid hunter, enjoyed sports during his high school years in Muskegon, was an accomplished fast pitch softball pitcher in the Muskegon area; had been a referee in the Muskegon City Basketball League and was an active member of the Fremont Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dolores of White Cloud; his children, Kevin (Julie) David of Muskegon; Michele (Larry) Farrell of Edwardsville, IL; Randall David of White Cloud; Gregory (Wynne) David of Muskegon; his grandchildren, Aime Sue, William, Elizabeth, Kimberly David of Muskegon; Trevor Fryling of Grand Rapids; Jeremy Cline of Diamondale, MI; his brothers, Ron (Marge) David of Tavares, FL; Darrell Pudge (Sandy) David of Muskegon; his sisters, Velma Strait of Oklahoma City, OK; Lucille Tootie (Ray) Rodgerson of Muskegon; Loretta David of Fruitport. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Irene and by his sister, Leola Ash. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Fremont Wesleyan Church with interment in the Lincoln Twp. Cemetery. For a more lasting memorial, friends may consider a memorial to the Fremont Wesleyan Church Building Fund in memory of David.
