David S. Fredenburg, age 71 of Twin Lake, passed away surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Leila & Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence in Muskegon. David was born on June 30, 1942 in White Cloud to Sylvester and Clara (Kuhns) Fredenburg. David had been employed at Weesies Brothers in Montague for the past 50 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and enjoyed spending time working on his retirement projects. David was an active member of the White Cloud Mennonite Church where he had been an usher. David is survived by his sisters and brothers, John (Cathy) Fredenburg of Rothbury; Mae (Larry) Taylor of Ferrysburg; Larry Fredenburg of White Cloud; Susan Harding of Rothbury; Jean (John) Burkholder of White Cloud; Allen (Margo) Fredenburg of Montague; his sister-in-law, Sandy Fredenburg of Shelby; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. David was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Fredenburg and Steven Fredenburg; his sister-in-law, Michele Fredenburg; his brother-in-law, Jerry Harding. VISITATION : Monday, November 25, 2013 from 11am 2pm at the White Cloud Mennonite Church with FUNERAL SERVICES at 2pm at the church. INTERMENT : Amish Cemetery in White Cloud. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : Harbor Hospice for the Leila & Cyrus Poppen House.
