David Lee Harrington, age 61 of Grant, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at his home following his valiant battle with cancer. David was born on November 15, 1955 in Grand Rapids to Ronald Gilbert and Clara Mae (Combs) Harrington and attended Wyoming Park High School. David later traveled throughout the United States working at various jobs and enjoying life. David moved back to the Grant area in 1998 where he was an entrepreneur and owned and operated Ashland Mini Storage in Grant. David enjoyed boating, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

David is survived by his daughters, Christina Marie (Bryan) Cox and their daughter, McKinley A. Cox of Vancouver, Washington; Jami Lee Harrington of Port Falls, Idaho; his mother, Clara Mae (Stan Bush) Stellard of Fremont; sisters and brothers, Ronda (Luke) VanDop of Holton; Joni (Steven) Crandle of Grant; Daniel (Karen) Harrington of Fremont; step sisters and step brothers, Ron (Mary) Stellard of Bathe, Michigan; Linda (Wayne) Vanderjagt of Grand Rapids; Gary (Deb) Doxtater; Chris Fitzgerald; Pete (Joanne) Doxtater; Bruce Duimstra; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Eva and Troy Deems of Grant. David was preceded in death by his father, Ronald G. Harrington; step mother, June Harrington; step father, William "Bill" Stellard; step sisters, Sharon Duimstra and Diane Robach.

VISITATION : Monday, June 19, 2017 from 4-7 pm at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel 7193 W 48th Street Fremont MI 49412. FUNERAL SERVICES : Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11am at the Grant Community Church 115 W State Road Grant MI 49327. INTERMENT : Maple Grove Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : Spectrum Health Foundation for the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion.
