DAVID ALLEN HEPINSTALL, 90, of Blissfield, Michigan went to be with our SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, on October 9, 2024 at Hampton Manor of Dundee, Michigan.  David was a lifelong resident of White Cloud, Michigan, until 2003 when they moved to Brooksville, Florida before transitioning to southeast Michigan in 2021.

He is the son of John Wesley Hepinstall and Flossie Fay (Fowler) Hepinstall, and he was born on August 30, 1934, in White Cloud, Michigan.

David served his country in the US Army from 1953 to 1955. He married Lois Elaine Reed on June 16, 1956. David graduated from Ferris Institute with a degree in Pharmacology. He went on to open his own Pharmacy in White Cloud in 1961, where he enjoyed serving his hometown very much as its sole Pharmacist for more than 20 years. David was a member of the White Cloud United Methodist Church and was also a member of The Rotary Club. He was elected to several consecutive terms on the White Cloud Public School's Board of Education, also serving as board president for part of that time. He also served several years on the Board of Trustees for the First State Bank of White Cloud. David loved going to Detroit Tigers games & watching them on TV.  He also enjoyed playing golf with family and friends and spent most of his spare time with his family. David was preceded in death by his parents John & Flossie Hepinstall; his sister Arlene (Milton) Ames, his brother Gene A. (Shirley) Hepinstall, his son John E. Hepinstall, & grandson, Adam David Scott. David is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lois Elaine (Reed), their children Cindy (Mike) Shively, Mark (Marni) Hepinstall, Lori (Chuck) Scott, and Julie (Randy) Keller, 14 Grandchildren: Justin (Billie) Scott, David Allen Hepinstall II , Jillian (Brian) Matteson, Rachel (Daniel) Coffman, Alyssa ( Micah) Castle, Kaleb (Kiara) Hepinstall, John Hepinstall Jr., Adam Hepinstall,  Kyle (Jana) Keller, Corey (Whitney) Keller, Tyler (Sarah) Keller, Callie (Collin) Raker, Randy Keller Jr. & Josiah Keller. He was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren.

A local memorial service is being planned for Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Hampton Manor of Dundee.  The service that David had a part in planning will be on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the United Methodist Church in White Cloud.  There will be a visitation starting at noon until the time of the service of Memorial Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm.  A luncheon will be provided afterward by the ladies of the church.
