David G. Ingersoll, age 62, of Grant passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at his home. Dave was born on January 20, 1949, in Muskegon, to Glenn Ward and Fern Lucille (Hancock) Ingersoll and married Geneva Bryan on March 26, 1966, in Muskegon. Dave was a truck driver for Grand Valley Express in Muskegon and member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Bridgeton. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Dave is survived by his wife, Geneva; children, David G. (Tutti) Ingersoll Jr. of Grant, Glenn Ward (Dawn) Ingersoll of Muskegon, and Buffy (Mario) Garza of Grant; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Rosalie (Steve) Bedgood of Fremont and Helen (Ed) Duke of Grant; many nieces and nephews; sisters in law, Betty Ingersoll, Sally Ingersoll, and Judy Ingersoll; special friends, Gil Flanders and June and Bucky. He was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Joyce Johnson, Jackie Stewart, Terry Ingersoll, Allen Ingersoll, and Brent Ingersoll. Visitation will be on Friday, October 14, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11 AM at the Crandell Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Force officiating. Interment will be in Ingersoll Cemetery.
