Dean Hills, age 44 of Fremont, formerly of Newaygo and Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday at his home. Dean was born on Aug. 13, 1965 in Grand Rapids to Larry and Fran (Pitsch) Hills and graduated from Union High School in 1983. Dean married K.C. Newington on June 20, 1997 in Grand Rapids and had been a production worker and Hi-lo operator at Dura Automotive. Dean loved gardening, grilling and cooking, fishing, but especially treasured his kids. SURVIVORS : his wife, K.C. of Fremont; his children, Justin of Grand Rapids; Samantha (fianc, Eric Redinger) of Fremont; Teri of Sparta; Jake of Fremont; Luke of Fremont; Nickey of Spring Lake; Alyssa of Fremont; his parents, Larry and Fran Hills of Grandville; maternal grandmother, Hope Pitsch of Howard City; sisters, Robin (Bryant) Fravel of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Michele Hills (fianc, Jimi Little) of Wyoming; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; many special friends.
