Deborah Ann Frees, age 54 of Hesperia, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2004 at her home. She was born on February,. 9, 1950 in Grand Rapids to Byron and Evelyn R.(Horton) Kartes and has been a lifelong resident of the Hesperia area where she was a cashier at Eds Orchard Market for the past 15 years. She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia. She is survived by her children, Aimee (Lee) Borgeson of Hesperia; Jennifer Hren of Hesperia; Jeffrey (Tonya) Frees of Twin Lake; Ryan Frees of Hesperia; her grandchildren, Jonathon Hren, Aaron Borgeson, Kirstin Borgeson; Andrew Borgeson, Justin Frees, Joselyn Frees, Kaylee Frye, Jordan Frees; her former husband, Duane Frees of Hesperia; her father, Byron Kartes of Hesperia; her sisters, Melanie (Stanley) Jensen of Ravenna; Sue (John) Schondelmyer of White Cloud; Roxanne (Scott) Wilkinson of Hesperia; Linda Kartes of Comstock Park; brothers, Bruce Kartes of Hesperia; Mark (Joni) Kartes of Norton Shores; special uncles and aunts, Elaine & Elton Dickinson of Hesperia; Duane (Aileen) Horton of White Cloud; Delores (David) David of White Cloud; 11 nieces and nephews; 17 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Kartes on January 18, 2003. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at the Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia with Rev.
