Deborah A. VanRiette, age 57 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 06, 2012 at her home. Deborah was born on December 26, 1954 in Highland Park, Michigan to William and Patricia (Huckins) Dick and moved to the White Cloud area in 1990. Deborah had worked as a clerical secretary for several years in the area. Deborah married Mark VanRiette on January 27, 1989 in Auburn Hills, Michigan and enjoyed watching sports, knitting and ceramics. Deborah especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Deborah is survived by her husband, Mark of White Cloud; her children, Jennifer (Kurt) Brown of White Cloud; Kevin (Desirae) Strait of White Cloud; Joshua VanRiette (fianc, Amber) of Lake Orion; Raymond VanRiette of Tucson, Arizona; Justin (Rachel) Watters of Newaygo; her grandchildren, Parker, Hannah, Hailee, Alexis, Kevin Jr., Brady, Aubri; several cousins, including Mark and Paul Samways; several nieces and nephews and many close friends. Deborah was preceded in death by her sister, Julie L. Dick on July 31, 2000 and by her aunt, Paula Samways. Time of gathering Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 11-12 at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. Memorial services Wednesday at 12pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel.
