Debra Ann (Barnhill) Chupp, age 43 of Newaygo, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at her home following a short illness. She was born on March 15, 1958 in Fremont to Jack and Dee (Phillips) Barnhill and married Moses Chupp on March 15, 1979 in White Cloud. Debra has been a resident of the area since 1974 where she was a homemaker and was a dedicated bingo player. She is survived by her husband, Moses of Newaygo; her parents, Jack & Dee Barnhill of White Cloud; sisters, Patricia (Charlie) Nash of Vandalia, MI; Susan DeBoise of White Cloud; Julie (Ethan) Ebenstein of White Cloud; brother, Doug (Karen) Barnhill of White Cloud; maternal grandmother, Grace Phillips of White Cloud; paternal grandmother, Ada Ulrey of White Cloud; children, Gay (Frank) Schutter of Fremont; Brad (Lori) Chupp of Montana; Craig (Bonnie) Chupp of White Cloud; Janett (Rod) Rivera of Kentucky; Steven (Coral) Chupp of Newaygo; Ryan (Shelly) Chupp of Grand Rapids; Shane (Becky) Chupp of Coopersville; 28 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Bridget, Jack & Becky Barnhill; Christopher & Ashley DeBoise; Logan and Trevor Ebenstein; many cousins, aunts & uncles. Funeral services were held on Friday, October 26, 2001 from the White cloud Mennonite Church with Mr. Richard Near presiding with interment in the Amish Cemetery in White Cloud.
