Delores S. Thompke, age 79 of White Cloud, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at her son's home in Kalamazoo. Delores was born on August 4, 1938 in Newaygo to Richard Henry and Isabel (Morse) Luther and later married Richard J. Thompke Sr. on December 31, 1960 in Lansing. Richard Sr. preceded her in death on March 31, 2016. Delores and Dick moved to the White Cloud area in 1962 from Lansing and together owned and operated the D & D's Party Store from 1966 until 1997. Delores was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud where she enjoyed participating in the activities of the church, had been an avid golfer, enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, and bowling in her younger years.

Delores is survived by her son, Richard J. (Kelly) Thompke Jr. of Plainwell; her daughter, Linda (Philip) Anderson of Whitehall; her grandchildren, Heather and Jared Thompke; James (Melissa) Hitts; Krystle (Jeremy) Bisard; Chelsea (Jeremy) Newfer and Brandon Kuck; 8 great grandchildren; her sister, Maryann Korrey. Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Thompke Sr.; her daughter, Marian Hitts; her sister, Sarah Luther and her brothers, Delbert Luther, Edward Luther and Richard Luther Jr.

VISITATION : Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 4-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel 1109 Court Street White Cloud, Michigan 49349 and Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 10-11am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church 965 Newell White Cloud MI 49349 ROSARY SERVICES : Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 6:30pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL : Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church 965 Newell White Cloud MI 49349. INTERMENT : Lincoln Township Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : St. Joseph Catholic Church Youth Programs.
