It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Denise Marie Burkle, who left us peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the age of 70. Denise was born on Tuesday, March 16, 1954, and lived a life full of love, adventure, and cherished moments with family and friends.

A woman of many talents and interests, Denise found joy in hunting, fishing, and being in the great outdoors. She had a true passion for cooking and loved sharing her culinary creations with those she loved. Denise was also a dedicated member of the Fremont Moose and cherished the camaraderie and friendships she found there.

She is survived by her loving children, Craig (Heather) Burkle, Kerri Rogers, her sister, Tammy (Dan) Lockwood, her sister-in-law, Tracy Tanis, her grandchildren; Kaylee Rogers, Lexie Rogers, and Kya Burkle. She also leaves behind her nieces Alyssa (Ryan) Priest and Kylene (Matt) Moschke, and nephews Brent (Kasey) Tanis and Kurt (Brenda) Lockwood. Denise joins those who preceded her in death, including her brother, Richard Tanis, her father, Gilbert Tanis Jr., and her mother, Marjorie Tanis.

To honor Denise's life and share fond memories, a luncheon will be held at the Fremont Moose on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 1 pm. Friends and family are invited to come together in remembrance of a life well-lived. Arrangements have been provided by Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont.
