Dennis R. Anderson, age 28 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Dennis was born on September 14, 1984 in Wyoming, Michigan to Dennis and Deanna (Welch) Anderson and later moved to Florida to play baseball and graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville. Dennis won a baseball state championship and later played at Florida State where he won a ACC championship in baseball. Dennis moved back to White Cloud where he married Hilary Champion on March 15, 2011 in White Cloud. Dennis was a cook at Latitudes and while continuing his education at Ferris State University and his passion was fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Dennis especially treasured the time he spent with his daughter, Aliya. Dennis is survived by his wife, Hilary of White Cloud; his daughter, Aliya and step son, Skyler of White Cloud; his mother, Deanna Day of Orange Park, Florida; his father, Dennis (Becki) Anderson of White Cloud; maternal grandparents, Nancy Williams of Wyoming, Michigan; Bob (Luann) Welch of Hudsonville; paternal grandparents, Darlene (John) Doughty of Caledonia; Russell Anderson of Cadillac; his sisters, Shayla Anderson of White Cloud; Kylee Anderson of White Cloud; aunt and uncle, Doug Welch of Grand Rapids; Donna Plants of Howard City; Russell Anderson of Hudsonville; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Susan (Dale) Heintz of White Cloud; Patrick (Laura) Champion of Dorr. VISITATION : Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 11am 1pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 1pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. INTERMENT : White Cloud Cemetery.
