Dennis Duane DuBois, Sr., age 64 of Holton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Mercy Health Partners Mercy Campus in Muskegon. Dennis was born on February 23, 1957 in Fremont to Francis "Sonny" and Mary Jane "Janie" (Bulson) DuBois and has been a longtime resident of the Holton area. Dennis had been a lineman and splicer for North Star Cable for several years and had worked for other cable companies in the area as well. Dennis enjoyed the Michigan outdoors – hunting, fishing, camping; pitching horseshoes, and was a caucasian engineer all his life. Dennis is survived by his wife, Diane DuBois of Holton; his children, Dennis Duane (Mary) DuBois Jr. of Muskegon; Melissa DuBois of Columbia, Missouri; Amanda "piss ant" (James) Morse of Spring Lake; Reannen Denevan of Muskegon; Raechel (Jason Becklin) of Twin Lake; Randy Denevan of Holton; Raymond (Ashlie) Denevan of Twin Lake; 15 grandchildren; his sisters, Julie Koch of White Cloud; Gail (Ron) Russell of Shelby; Cindy Kelly of Florida; Pam Falbe of Whitehall; his brothers, Kevin Kelly of Florida; Kevin Zack and Bob Zack; several nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Sweet; his father, Sonny DuBois; his sisters, Pamela Beattie, Teresa DuBois, Coral Zack; his brothers, C. John DuBois, Bruce Kelly, Bill Zack.
