Dennis Dean Temple Sr., age 65 of Hesperia, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2022 at his home following a very short illness. Dennis was born on October 16, 1957 in Muskegon to Albert Daren and Carol Jean (Box) Temple and graduated from Hesperia High School in 1976. Dennis has been a lifelong resident of the Hesperia area and had worked as a material handler at GHSP in Hart until his retirement on September 30, 2022. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching Michigan Football, was a long time Detroit Lions fan, bonfires, fireworks and the 4th of July. He was a member of the Hesperia American Legion Post 411 and truly treasured the time he spent at the hunting cabin with friends in Kalkaska. Dennis is survived by his sons, Kurtis (Sandra) Temple of Hesperia; Dennis D. (Escarlet) Temple Jr. of Wyoming, Michigan; his grandchildren, Rylee, Zack, Alexa, Elena, and Ezra; his sisters and brother, Sherri; George (Candace) Puflett; Helen Temple; special friends, Tammy Hess, Earl & Gayle Johnson, Joe Bush, Rick Roberson, Rodney Dickinson Jr.. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Carol and his brother Dan Temple. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE and TIME OF REMEMBERANCE will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 1-4pm at Angelo's & Riccardo's 161 N. Division Hesperia MI 49421.
