Denver A. "DJ" Woodard, age 37 of Sparta and Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the Corewell Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. DJ was born on December 29, 1985 in Hillsdale, Michigan and graduated from Grant Schools before moving to the Grand Rapids area. DJ had worked as an assembler in manufacturing and enjoyed fishing, video games, polishing rocks, gardening and going to music concerts. DJ is survived by his wife, Myra Myers of Sparta; his mother, Charlene Powles; father, Steven Paul Hutchins; sisters and nieces and nephews – Tracy (Chris) Snyder and children – Bernie Vandepol, Zack Vandepol, Alyssia Snyder; Heather (Jeremy) McFadden and children – Mike Hutchins, Jeremy McFadden Jr., Savannah McFadden; Mary (Dennis) DuBois Jr. and son – Nathan DuBois; Patsy Hutchins and children, Angel Ogg and Justin Ogg Jr.; his aunt, Patty Berzaitis; uncle Bill Combs.
