DeWayne J. Frazier, age 70 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his home. DeWayne was born on November 2, 1940 in Lansing, Michigan to Ivan and Esther (Schneider) Frazier and moved to the White Cloud area at the age of 17. DeWayne later met and married Mary Zacharias on April 4, 1964 in White Cloud. DeWayne had been a machinist at NARCO in White Cloud for 25 years until his retirement in 2003. DeWayne was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, a member of the Croton American Legion Post #381. DeWayne enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a life member of the NRA. DeWayne had also served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. DeWayne is survived by his wife, Mary of White Cloud; his daughters, Barbara Frazier of Evart; Debra Frazier of Grand Haven; Dawn (Mark) Storey of West Olive; special daughter, Tammy Steadman; 7 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his sisters and brothers, James Frazier of Denver, Colorado; Rene Jack (Loretta) Frazier of Whitehall; Marilyn (Bill) Hopkins of Highlandville, Missouri; Cheryl (Dave) Cable of White Cloud; Nancy (James) Haight of Big Rapids; Mary Jo (Gary) Harbart of Fort Worth, Texas; Joan (John) Larsen of Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Bessie Boerma and by his brother, Richard Frazier. VISITATION : Sunday, June 5, 2011 from 5-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. SCRIPTURE SERVICES : Sunday at 7:30 at the funeral home. MASS OF RESSURRECTION : Monday, June 6, 2011 at 10am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. INTERMENT : St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
