Dolores H. David, age 76 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2011 at the Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus in Grand Rapids. Dolores was born on March 31, 1935 in White Cloud to Clarence and Mabel (Allers) Horton and later married David A. David on June 8, 1956 in Muskegon. David preceded her in death on October 30, 2004. Dolores had been the secretary/treasurer of the West Shore Christian Fellowship in Muskegon for 17 years until she moved to the White Cloud area in 1996 from Muskegon. Dolores then became the financial secretary at the Fremont Wesleyan Church for several years. Dolores was a member of the Fremont Wesleyan Church where she loved the Vacation Bible School Program and helped in the kitchen for many years. Dolores also enjoyed knitting, needlework and crafts, was well known for her pickles and had an indoor plant green thumb. Dolores especially enjoyed reading and would often read a book and then donate the book to the church library. Dolores is survived by her children, Kevin (Julie) David of Muskegon; Michele Shelley (Larry) Farrell of Edwardsville, Illinois; Randy David of White Cloud; Greg (Wynne) David of Muskegon;4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; her brother, Duane (Aileen) Horton of White Cloud; her sister, Elaine (Elton) Dickinson of Hesperia; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Kartes. VISITATION : Monday, June 6, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Fremont Wesleyan Church 918 Garden FUNERAL SERVICES : Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 11am at the Fremont Wesleyan Church.
