Dolores D. McCracken, age 70 of Brohman formerly of Sparta, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 25, 2002 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born on June 23, 1931 in Sparta to John and Hazel (Rolston) Dake and married Richard McCracken on August 18, 1950 in Sparta. Dolores moved to the White Cloud area in 1980 where she had been a homemaker and Mom to many. She was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church in White Cloud where she was very active in the worship team and the church activities. She is survived by her husband, Richard of Brohman; her children, David (Nancy) McCracken of Sparta; Paul (LouAnn) McCracken of Brohman; Roxanne Jazwinski of Kent City; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; her brother, Norman (Joanne) Dake of Sparta. She was preceded in death by 1 sister, June Hosko. Funeral memorial services were held on Monday, April 29, 2002 from the New Life Assembly of God Church in White Cloud with Pastor Paul Feuerstein presiding with interment in the Merrill Township Cemetery.
