Dolores L. Peskin, age 79 of Hesperia, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Dolores was born on September 28, 1931 in Grand Rapids to Gaze and Rose (Paph) Durst and later married Michael Peskin Sr. on Aug. 6, 1949 in Grand Rapids. Dolores was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Dolores was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church, Hesperia American Legion Auxiliary, Post 411 and had enjoyed working Bingo at Christ The King Catholic Church, crocheting, knitting, cooking and canning. SURVIVORS : her loving husband, Michael Sr. She will be greatly missed by her children, Debbra (Michael) Mick of Grand Rapids; Michael Peskin Jr. of Grand Rapids; Rose Anne Jarman of Tifton, Georgia; Stephan (Darlet) Peskin of Jenison; grandchildren, Jane-Ann (John) Bosch; Casey (Christopher) Kaye; Amanda Peskin; Alexander Peskin; Jacob Peskin; Madison Peskin; John Jarman; Mathew Jarman; her great grandchildren, Jamison and Charlotte; her brother, Robert (Sue) Durst of Hudsonville. MEMORIAL SERVICES : Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at 11am at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with a time of visitation 2 hours prior to the services.
