Dolores I. Videtich, age 77 of Hesperia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 26, 2008 at her home. Dolores was born on September 26, 1930 in Lomira, Wisconsin, to Martin and Helen (Blake) Fritz and moved to the Hesperia area at an early age. Dolores graduated from Hesperia High School in 1948, met and later married Leo Videtich in 1949. Leo preceded her in death on December 8, 1972. She then married Victor Videtich on January 5, 1974, and he preceded her in death on August 28, 2005. Dolores had been a cashier at Eds Grocery for over 30 years and retired in 1987 and also worked on the family dairy and beef farm from 1949 until 1987. Dolores was an active member of the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Brunswick where she was a member of the Alter Society. She enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, cooking and baking for her family. She also enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, reading and music. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Videtich of Hesperia; sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law, Rose (John) Kent of Casnovia; Rudy (Ellen) Videtich of Muskegon; Dorothy (Clarence) Patelski of Holton; Wanda Videtich of Muskegon; Kathleen Videtich of Kent City; many nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 30, 2008 at the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Brunswick with Rev. Father Michael Alber presiding with interment in the St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery.
