Dominick Alexander Flasck, age 92 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Spectrum Health Mecosta County Hospital in Big Rapids. Dominick was born on March 3, 1925 in Detroit to Dominick Francis and Polonia (Seme) Flasck. Dominick joined the United States Army in 1943 and served in the European Theatre during World War II. After his honorable discharge, Dominick returned to the Detroit area and married Delores Marie Gorski on January 18, 1947 in Detroit. Dominick began working as a Pattern Maker for Superior Pattern where he worked for 35 years until Superior Pattern closed and he began working for Valiant Pattern until his retirement at age 65. Dominick began traveling to the White Cloud area in 1965 and moved permantly from St. Clair Shores in 1990. Dominick enjoyed making kites, fishing, hunting, shooting, wine making and boating. He was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, playing cards, camping and picnics. Dominick truly treasured the time he spent with his family and was the most happy when surrounded by them. Dominick is survived by his wife of 71years, Delores of White Cloud; his children, Christine (Jim) Pachla of Warren, MI; Diane (Nick) Travis of Clinton Township; Doreen (Don) Kaiser of White Cloud; Dominick (Barbara) Flasck of Delton; his grandchildren, James Arthur (Laura) Pachla, Jonathan (Jennifer) Pachla, Natalie (Robert) Sivalelli, Walter Hancock; Meridith (Thomas) Gunn, Raymond Elliott, Dominick Robert (Becky) Flasck, Angela (Jon) Garvey, Gabrielle (Tyler) Gonzales, Donald L. (Tricia) Kaiser, David Dominick (Amanda) Kaiser, DeAnne (Jim) Coon; his great grandchildren, James Dominick Pachla, Sabrina Pachla, Samantha Pachla, Isabella Sivalelli, Maxton Sivalelli; Jonathan Alexander Pachla, Thomas D. Gunn, Alex Pachla, Kaylyn Kaiser, Linsie Kaiser, Madalyn Kaiser, Makayla Kaiser, David A. Kaiser, Joseph Coon, Courtney Coon, Jacob Coon, Dominick Charles Flasck, Nolan Flasck, Katelyn Garvey, Lillian Garvey, Analeigh Gonzales. Dominick was preceded in death by his parents, Dominick Francis and Polonia Flasck and his brothers, Richard Flasck and Arthur Flasck.
