Maynard, Don Don Maynard, age 67 of Holton, passed away Monday, September 9, 2002 at his home. He was born on February 1, 1935 in Hesperia to Clayton and Velda Hattie (Eddy) Maynard and married his wife of 46 years Judy Bennett on September 1, 1956 in Troy Township . He had worked at the Gerber Products Company as a production worker until his retirement. Don was a member of the Cornerstone Free Methodist Church in Holton. He is survived by his wife, Judy of Holton; his son, Paul (Catherine) Maynard of Fremont; 4 grandchildren, Derick, Chad, Jacob and Tressa; his sisters, Edna Mansfield of Hesperia; Glora Lee Moore of Muskegon; Shirley (Ron) Zenk of Hesperia; Judy (Dave) Golden of Muskegon; Kay (Dan) Rossiter of Montague; Linda (Jay) Jones of Hesperia; his brothers, Morris (Shirley) Maynard of Hesperia; Terry (Beverly) Maynard of Hesperia; Randy (Marlene) Maynard of Hesperia; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Perry; his parents, Clayton and Velda Maynard; his brothers, Teddy, Wayne, Clayton Jr. and his sister, Deloris Biggart. Services of dedication were held on Sunday, September 15, 2002 from the Cornerstone Free Methodist Church in Holton with Rev. David Gruber presiding with interment in the East Hesperia Cemetery .
