Dona Burkle, age 67, of Fremont passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017, at her home. Dona was born on December 4, 1950, to Donald and Arlene (Cornell) Williams and married Rodney Allen Burkle in 1975. Dona was a member of the Fremont High School Class of 1969 and had worked in food service. She was an avid collector of antiques and loved her dachshunds Herbert and Mocha. She was part of the AH SHA LA HO Indian Dancers and beloved leader of Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. She also loved working in her flower gardens and often talked about drag racing a 1969 Barracuda. She adored her two grandchildren and they brought her the greatest joy in her life.

Dona is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Rodney; children, Troy (Kathy Lucker) Burkle and Candi (Rob Howard) Burkle; grandchildren, Brycen Garza and Maddie Garza; sisters and brothers, Sandra Luokkanen, Marilyn Williams, Robin Williams, and Brian Williams; step-mother, Vivian Williams; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene Bonnie Heath; father, Donald Williams; sister, Jo Lynn Williams; and brother, Donald "Butch" Williams.

A time of reception to share memories with the family will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 1pm - 4pm. at the Fremont High School Cafeteria 5421 S Warner Ave, Fremont, MI 49412.
