Donald William Barrett, age 69, of Fremont passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020, at Spectrum Health Kent Community Campus in Grand Rapids. Don was born on March 21, 1950, in Newark, Ohio, to Richard E. and Betty (Holton) Barrett and had been a contractor. Don had also proudly served in the United States Navy. Don is survived by his mother, Betty; children, Matthew Barrett of Arizona and Michael Barrett of Arizona; grandchildren; sisters, Deborah Lusk and Denise "Dee" (David) Steele; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at the Fremont Christian Church - Disciples of Christ with Pastor David Dickinson officiating.
