Donald Mural Brandt age 81 of Fremont, MI passed away November 10, 2024 at Bronson Methodist hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. Donald was born January 22, 1943 at home in Walkerville, MI to Mural and Mary Brandt. He married Doris Cox on February 11, 1967, in North Adams, MI. He lived most of his married life in Twin Lake, Mi before moving to Fremont, MI.

After graduating from Hesperia High School Donald started a long career in construction as a carpenter. In 1967 he married Doris, and they had one son Darren. Don loved working on projects and helping neighbors with anything they needed. He was a man of few words but what he spoke was in his actions with always lending a hand with anything to anyone.

He is survived by one son Darren (Christy) Brandt of Twin Lake, MI, 3 grandchildren: Christian (Kelsie) Kolberg of N Muskegon, Mark Brandt of N Muskegon, Carly Weinrick of Twin Lake. 2 great grandchildren Cash Kolberg and Violet Brandt. 2 sisters Shirley Wilkinson and Judy Kraus.

Don was predeceased by his parents Mural Brandt and Mary Brandt, siblings Donna Youngs, Norma Jean Fisher, Gary Brandt, Kathy Brandt.

There will be a celebration of life announced at a later date.
