Donald Kent Brookhouse, age 61 of Grand Rapids, formerly of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 6, 2021 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids. Don was born on August 29, 1960 in Fremont to Carl and Shirley (Perkins) Brookhouse and graduated from Fremont High School and Calvin College. Don worked as a material handler for Amazon in Grand Rapids. Don was a member of the Grand Haven Fraternal Order of Eagles and had enjoyed golfing in his younger years. Don is survived by several aunts and many cousins. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery where Don will be buried with his parents.
