Donald L. Cooper, age 70 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at his home. Donald was born on November 19, 1949 in Grand Haven to Donald Franklin and Blondean (McLaren) Cooper and graduated from Muskegon Heights High School. Donald was drafted in the United States Army on July 23, 1969 and served during the Vietnam War until his discharge in on July 14, 1971. Donald had been a meat cutter at A&P in Muskegon, Plumbs Food Market in Newaygo and Muskegon, Gene's Market in Grant and Meijer throughout West Michigan until his retirement. Donald married Marlene Joash Rich on June 12, 1998 and they moved to the White Cloud area in 2005 from Casnovia. Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years and being in the Michigan outdoors. Donald is survived by his wife, Marlene Cooper of White Cloud. Military graveside services will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ashland Center Cemetery 1900 W. 120th Ave. Grant MI 49327.
