Donald E. Kamrowski, age 69 of Idlewild, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010, at his home with his family by his side. Don was born on February 29, 1940, in Chicago to Edward and Nell (James) Kamrowski and had worked as a millwright at Howmet Corporation. He married Margaret Morningstar on July 26, 1968, in Terre Haute, Indiana, and was a member of the Bitely Conservation Club and National Rifle Association. Don served in the Army and was a member of the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles and was a member of AmVets Post #1988 in Idlewild. Don is survived by his wife Margaret; children, Richard (Melanie) McCarty of Bremen, GA., Donald (Tammie) McCarty of Waco, GA., Gregory McCarty of Alabama, Terri (Christopher) Seastrom of Allendale, Kelly (Jesus) Aguilar of Montague, and Kimberly (Peter) Morden of New Era; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Shirley Aebig of New Era, Judy Gibbs of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, and Ken (Emma) Kamrowski of Hesperia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Edward and Robert Kamrowski and sister Patricia Pritchard. Funeral services will held at 1 PM on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Pastor Bob Sponable from the New Era Bible Church officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5 8 PM and then on Tuesday an hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hart Cemetery.
