Donna Marie Broton, age 82, of Hesperia, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016, at her home with her family by her side. Donna was born on July 7, 1934, in Muskegon to Roman and Gertrude (Simonis) Paprocki and married John a. Broton Jr. on June 5, 1954, in Ravenna. After retirement, John and Donna moved to Trenary, Michigan, in the Upper Peninsula where they enjoyed 20 years, prior to returning to the Western Michigan area in 2014. Donna enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, and her time with her family.

Donna is survived by her husband, John of Hesperia; children, Mike (Cheryl) Broton of Pennsylvania, Pat (Cindy) Broton of Hesperia, Ilene (Joe) Kruzel of Muskegon, Mary (Bill) Parks of Hesperia, and Daniel Broton; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bernice Paprocki of Ravenna; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wallace Paprocki and Earl Paprocki; and her sister, Margaret Hamilton.
