Donna M. Hall, age 76 of Fremont, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at her home following a terminal illness. Donna was born on March 3, 1935 in Ludington to Justice B. and Marie Annette (Tyler) Wigren and later moved to the Muskegon area. Donna graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1953 and later married Kenneth J. Hall on October 6, 1956 in Muskegon. Kenneth preceded her in death on July 23, 1984. Donna was a longtime resident of the Fremont area and she worked as a teachers aide at Holton Elementary Schools from 1985 until 2005 when she retired. Donna was a member of the Holton Evangelical Lutheran Church for over 52 years where she taught Sunday school for 50 years. Donna enjoyed flower gardening, was a dedicated 4-H Leader with the Holton Happy Hustlers, a long time volunteer with Special Olympics Area #21 and a faithful Monday Night Madness Group attendee. Donna especially cherished attending her children and grandchildrens extracurricular activities like orchestra concerts, dance recitals, and school sporting events; she was well known for her cowbell in the stands at the football games. Donna is survived by her children, Bill (Laurie) Hall of Holton; Sally Hall of Fremont; Jill Hall of Fremont; Charles (Paula) Hall of Fremont; Donald Hall of Tuscon, Arizona; 9 grandchildren, Kenny (Amber) Hall; Danny Hall; Michael Hall; David Hall; Jeffrey Hall; Samantha Hall; Zachary Hall; Makenzie Hall; Timothy Hall; several nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her son, Alan Lee Hall on November 2, 1998. VISITATION : Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Friday, January 13, 2012 at 1pm at the Holton Evangelical Lutheran Church.
