Donna Jean Lamb, age 87, of Bitely passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017, at Grand Oaks Nursing Home in Baldwin. Donna was born on August 2, 1930, in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada to William E. and Camilla M. (Shineldecker) Shaddock and married Alton "Spike" D. Lamb on May 12, 1950. Donna was a seamstress and enjoyed gardening, fishing, reading and working outside. Donna is survived by her daughters, Theresa (John Slusher) Lamb of Bitely and Cynthia (Richard) Lamb-Greening of Plainwell; grandchildren, Christopher Lamb and Brandon (Stephanie Carmody) Rockey, Patrice Wallace, Mimi Drilling, Tara Brown, Richard Drilling Jr., Zachary Greening, Eli Greening, and Hannah Garcia; brother and sisters, Joseph Shaddock, Marge (Roy) Oberg, and Phyllis Alexa. She was preceded in death by her husband Alton "Spike" in 1985; son, Michael "Mic" Lamb; and sisters, Avis Johnson and Dorothy Duffing. Services will be held at 12 noon, on Friday, October 27, 2017, at the Baldwin Congregational Church with Pastor Bruce Whitney officiating. There will be visitation prior to the service at the Church starting at 11 AM. Interment will be in Lilley Township Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Grand Oaks Nursing Home Activities Fund.
