Doreen M. Wolgamott, age 76 of Bitely, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 following a short illness. Doreen was born on November 1, 1938 in Baldwin to Paul and Gertrude (Gardener) Brown and later married Dale Wolgamott Sr. on May 15, 1955 in Bitely. Doreen has been a lifelong resident of the Bitely area where she had been a supervisor with the family business, Wolgamott and Son Tree Service for many years. Doreen was a member of the Amazing Grace Acres Church in Brohman and also the Bitely V.F.W. Post #995 auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, mushroom hunting and being in the Michigan outdoors but especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Doreen is survived by her husband, Dale Wolgamott Sr. of Bitely; her children, Melinda (Stan) Sayers of Shelby; Terry (Yvonne) Wolgamott of Bitely; LuAnne (Mark) Sokolowski Bitely; Doug (DeAnna) Wolgamott of Bitely; 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Dale E. Wolgamott Jr. on May 28, 2013; her grandson, David J. Wolgamott in 1983 and her sisters and brothers, Ruthie Phinney; Bob Brown, Bud Brown, and Bonnie McKenia.
