Dorene E. (Evans) Patrick, age 75, of Spring Lake and formerly of White Cloud passed away Thursday, August 24, 2000. She was born on May 9, 1925, in Kent County to Royal and Grace (Gigot) Hill. She worked for many years as a cook and restaurant worker. She is survived by daughters Donna Jean Phelps of Spring Lake, Doris Kay (Leroy) Voice Jr. of Kingsley, Violet Dawn Evans of Fruitport, Paula Lynn Evans of North Carolina; sons, Chester Robert (Sherry) Evans of Marne, Roger Dale Evans of Phoenix, Arizona, Terry lee (Brenda) Evans of Zebulon, North Carolina, Richard Allen (Michelle) Patrick of Dade City, Florida;14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma (David) Guevara of Hudsonville, Delores Splitstone of White Cloud, Velma (Bob) Perry of Lowell; brothers, Jerry (Cookie) Little of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by 1 grandchild, brother and 2 sisters. Funeral services were held on Monday, August 28, 2000, from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with Rev.
