Sodders, Dorla J. Dorla J. Sodders, age 45 of Brohman, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday at the Mecosta County General Hospital in Big Rapids. Dorla was born on October 29, 1959 in West Virginia to James and Linda (Pennington) Coleman and moved to the Brohman area in 1985 from Indiana. Dorla had been a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, spending time with her grandchildren. Deven and Emreyn; riding bikes, working on cars, playing horseshoes and playing cards. She was a member of the Baptist Church in America. She is survived by her daughters, Toshia Sodders of Baldwin; Lana Sodders of Brohman; her grandchildren, Deven Hopkins; Emreyn Young; her father, Pastor James Coleman of Brohman; her fianc, Richard Corbett of Brohman; her sisters and brothers, Jahonnia Coleman of Brohman; J.J. (Amy) Coleman of White Cloud; Kathy (Dale) Kirk of White Cloud; Johnny (Carol) Coleman of Brohman; Jimmy (Jeanette) Coleman of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Coleman in 2004; by her sister, Deborah Sue Coleman and by her brother, Timmy Ray Coleman.
