Dorothea "Jackie" Wilson, age 71 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at her home. She was born on January 23, 1930 in Muskegon to Irving and Dorothy J. (Jager) Bouwsma. She has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont and Holton Area where she was a homemaker and had been a prospector in Nowhere, Arizona for 10 years. She was also member of the Holton American Legion Womans Auxillary. She is survived by Paul Wilson of Holton; children, John Rogers of Holton; Julie Anne Rogers of Merrillville, Indiana; Ryan (Teressa) Wilson of Muskegon; Alan (Polly) Wilson of Holton; 11 grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer, Julianna, Jacob Rogers; Tarra Rogers; Andie Barnes, Ryan Wilson Jr; Luka Wilson; Jaqueline, Sara and Lena Wilson; 1 great grandchild, Slater James Wilson; brothers and sisters, Kenneth (Grata Bouwsma of Phoenix, Arizona; Ann (William) Charlesworth of Muskegon; William (Norma) Bouwsma of Sitka; Barbara (Robert) Taube of White Cloud; Helen (Jerry) Miller of Holton. She was preceded in death by a a brother, Eugene Bouwsma and a grandson, James Haynes. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 12, 2001 from the Holton United Methodist Church in Holton with her son, Alan Wilson presiding with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery in Holton.
