Dorothy E. Barnhard, age 92, of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2005, at Patriot Ridge Community in Fairborn. She was born on July 23, 1912, in Fremont to Lewis and Goldie (Dake) Stout and married Edgar Barnhard on October 13, 1935, in White Cloud. Her family owned and managed the Stout Store, and were farmers in the Aetna area years ago, she attended the Aetna School and Church. Dorothy is survived by her sons Larry (Pauline) Barnhard of Fairborn, Ohio, and Dennis (Betty) Barnhard of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar in 1977; 2 daughters Phyllis Lance and Carol Ring; 3 brothers, Clarence, Jake, and Bill Stout; and 3 sisters Myrtle Schliewe, Ethel Hopkins, and Nila Balcom. Interment will be in Lincoln Township Cemetery. For a more lasting memorial, friends are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
