Mrs. Dorothy Marie Beisiegel, age 87 of Newaygo passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2001 in Fremont. She was born on June 4, 1914 in Midlothian, Illinois to David and Eva (Bastian) Lash and married Lester Beisiegel on June 14, 1936 in Indiana. Lester preceded her in death on December 30, 1965. She was a faithful member of Kingdom Hall Jehovahs Witness of Fremont. She loved to prepare food to share with other people. She is survived by her daughter, Lou (Charles) Knapp of Newaygo; sons, Earl (Opal) Beisiegel of Bitely, Larry ( Lee Ann) Beisiegel of Newaygo, Phillip Beisiegel of Oak Forrest, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; one sister, May Schulis; 4 brothers, David Lash, Howard (Betty) Lash, Earl (Marge) Lash all of Illinois, and Raymond (Carol) Lash of Tennessee; 9 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Wilfred and Harry Lash. Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 3, 2001 from the Kingdom Hall Jehovahs Witmess of Fremont with Elder Robert Needham presiding.
