Dorothy M. Durham, age 87 of Fremont, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Dorothy was born on February 2, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska to Bernard Peter and Mary Loretta (Reisdorff) Camerlinck and then became a Practical Nurse. She met and later married Charles Henry Durham January 8, 1951 in Papillion, Nebraska. Charles preceded her in death on August 22, 2014. After Charles discharge from the Air Force, Dorothy and Charles moved back to the Fremont area in 1968 and later moved to Lawton, Oklahoma and then back to Fremont in 1986. Dorothy had also been an EMT in Newaygo County for several years. Dorothy was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church, enjoyed flower gardening, her cat and dog and especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Chuck Durham of Fremont; Marikay (Michael) Abbott of Fremont; Bryan (Janet) Durham of Glenburn, North Dakota; Rikki (Steve) Meade of Cache, Oklahoma; Sheila (Don) West of Roanoke, West Virginia; Lee (Daina) Durham of Cleveland, Georgia; Bill (Ginger) Durham of Fremont; Gayle (Bob) Scarfone of Faxon, Oklahoma; Glenn (Kit) Durham of Fremont; 29 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; her sisters, Elizabeth Hudson of Lawton, Oklahoma; Kathryn Perry of Omaha, Nebraska; Rita Barr of Omaha, Nebraska; Pauline Dillard of Eagle, Iowa; her brother, Robert Lawrence Camerlinck of Skyler, Nebraska; many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Sally Durham; her brothers, Bernard, Richard, James and William Camerlinck and by her sister, Mary Ann Bugiea.

VISITATION : Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel. MEMORIAL MASS SERVICES : Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11am at the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont. INTERMENT : Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : St. Jude's Research Hospital.
