Gill, Dorothy I. Dorothy I. Gill, age 83 of White Cloud, formerly of Long Beach, California passed away Thursday, December 26, 2002 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. Dorothy was born on February 10, 1919 in Long Beach to John Wesley and Mary (Brown) Marshall and married Robert Gill on July 8, 1949 in Long Beach, California. She had been an executive interviewer for the Lou Harris Company in Long Beach and had been a long time resident of Long Beach until she moved to Michigan in July of 1999. Dorothy enjoyed crafts, cooking and was associated with the 7th Day Baptist Church in White Cloud. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Stephen (Darlene) Gill of West Chester, Ohio; Patti (Rev. Bernie) Wethington of White Cloud; grandchildren, Megan Gill of West Chester, Ohio, Leanna Wethington of White Cloud; Jenna Westhington of White Cloud; Sean Wethington at Dyss AFB in Abileen, Texas; her sister, Margaret Hutchison of Long Beach, California; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Graves; her brothers, William Marshall, Frank Marshall, and Fred Marshall. Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 2, 2003 at the 7th Day Baptist Church in White Cloud with Dorothy son-in-law, Rev. Bernie Wethington presiding with interment in the White Cloud Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends are asked to consider the Dorothy I.
