Dorothy Jean Kennedy, age 82, of White Cloud passed away on Sunday November 14, 2021, at her home. Dorothy was born on May 30, 1939, at home in Cody Estey, Michigan, to Berti Elmer and Blanche Mae (Bennett) Conklin and later married Charles E. Kennedy. Dorothy retired from Flint Auto Auction as a Security Guard and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening, bingo, and occasional trips to the casino. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Julie Ann (Randy Rolston) Wilson of White Cloud; step-sons, Steve (Lisa) Kennedy, David (Rebecca) Kennedy, and James (Amy) Bowers; 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; sister, Regina Kraus; sister-in-law, Monya Kennedy; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 2011; twin daughters, Lisa and Laura, in 1956; sons, Donald (Petrinia) W. Burns in 1988 and James M. Burns in 1965; 11 brothers and sisters; granddaughter, Krystal Weinert; and grandson, Raymond Peryerk. There will not be any services at this time. Interment will be in Gladwin Cemetery with her husband in the Spring of 2022. Donations for the Kennedy family may be given in care of Crandell Funeral Home PO 122 White Cloud, MI 49349.
