Dorothy M. Larson, age 86 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, October 8, 2013 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Dorothy was born on July 11, 1927 in Kalamazoo to Russell and Margaret (Thomas) Dingman and later met and married Raymond Larson on May 31, 1952 in Grand Rapids. Ray preceded her in death on September 25, 2011. Dorothy moved to the White Cloud area in 1983 from Grand Rapids and had worked at Miur Photo Lab in Grand Rapids for 17 years until her retirement. Dorothy was a member of the Dark Sky Astronomy Club where she had helped build a 12 reflecting telescope and later donated the telescope to the Stephen Wessling Observatory in Fremont, enjoyed puzzles, flower and vegetable gardening, camping, traveling and especially her dogs. Dorothy and Ray also had built their homes in Grand Rapids and White Cloud and took great pride in their landscaping of their yard. Dorothy was a member of the White Cloud United Methodist Church. Dorothy is survived by her special friends, Jerry & Rosemarie Wright of White Cloud. VISITATION : Friday, October 11, 2013 from 10-12am at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel.
